Travelling to a country without an extensive ATM network?
Travellers cheques may be your best option for currency. Available in most major currencies, they are easy to use and are replaceable if lost or stolen – typically within 24 hours. Travellers cheques are also accepted worldwide and have no expiration date, meaning you can save your unused cheques for your next trip.
When you receive your Travellers cheques, be sure to sign each cheque in the upper left-hand corner and record the serial numbers of all cheques – you will need to provide these in the event your cheques are lost or stolen.
